On March 11th, the Calapooia Watershed Council will travel to the Regional Watershed meeting hosted by the North Santiam Watershed Council at the Stayton Community Center in Stayton, Oregon at 400 Virginia Ave. A potluck dinner will begin at 6:30 PM and will be followed by a discussion on upcoming projects and stream survey results, including information about Courtney Creek and Brush Creek sub-basins.
Planting on Courtney Creek 3/6/10
Interested in helping out with a native planting? We need volunteers to help a fellow Council member restore the streamside buffer along Courtney Creek on Saturday, March 6th. We’ll meet at his house at 10:00 am at 36636 Highway 228 and then travel back to Courtney Creek. The plants will already be laid out and ready to find their new homes! If you have a shovel, please bring one. We will have additional shovels, gloves, and snacks. Please bring raingear as we plant rain or shine. Hope to see you there!
